This paper discusses the main characteristics and importance of urban rail vehichles RVC （Reference Value Converter）. A1- type vehicle RVC of Guangzhou Metro Line 1 as an example, this paper analyzes the common fault cause and the main factor of compo- nent aging and puts forward suggestions and solutions. The results show that the measures are effective and can provide a reference for repaining RVC.
