Modeling and Characteristic Analysis of Asymmetric Orthogonal Face Gear

摘要 根据非对称面齿轮加工方法和啮合原理,推导出了非对称面齿轮齿面方程。采用Pro/E建立了非对称面齿轮和对称面齿轮的传动模型,将模型导入ABAQUS软件进行分析。ABAQUS中定义了材料属性和接触特性,进行了接触有限元分析,得到了不同面齿轮的啮合特性。通过比较得出了非对称面齿轮传动具有较小的弯曲应力和接触应力,但容易发生边缘接触和得到更大的传动误差。 According to the processing method and meshing theory, the equation of the asymmet- ric face gear is deduced. Asymmetric and symmetric face gear drive model are established by Pro/E, the analysis is carried out through importing them to ABAQUS. The material property and contact characteristic are defined in ABAQUS, tooth contact finite element analysis(FEA) is carried out, the meshing characteristics of different face gear are acquired. By comparing find that the asymmetric face gear drive can obtain less bending and contact stresses, but edge contact and larger transmission error can be get.
