摘要
针对对空情报雷达目标机型判别等任务需求,研究了雷达散射截面积(RCS)估计问题,提出一种适用于对空情报雷达的RCS估计方法。该方法考虑部署环境的影响引入天线方向图传播因子对雷达方程进行修正,同时,结合回波信噪比估计与统计分布参数估计实现了目标RCS估计,可有效支撑机型判别等任务,通过在对空情报雷达上的实际应用,验证了该方法的有效性。
To solve the problem of aircraft type discrimination between large-scale and small aircrafts, the estimation scheme of ra- dar cross section (RCS) is studied, and a estimation method applicable for air surveillance radar is proposed. The basic radar e- quation is modified by introducing antenna pattern propagation factor, which would take radar deployment situation factors into ac- count when calculating radar coverage. After that, the signal noise ratio of the radar echo is estimated and the characteristic param- eters of the RCS statistical distribution are calculated. Finally, the successful extraction of RCS of various types of aircraft will pro- vide effective evidence for aircraft types discrimination. The validity of the novel method is verified by experiments on real air sur- veillance radars.
