This paper describes the reinforcement and the engineering load of Meihuadian tunnel on Xikang railway. The reinforcement measures and overall construction program are formulated. The paper focuses on a rapid reinforcement construction technology with the aid of the rail car in which, the steel frame, bolt and connection lever are used. The use of this rapid reinforcement construction technology by rail car not only reduces the labor intensity and construction cost, but also improves operational efficiency. This paper also provides a reference for the similar project construction in the future.
