This paper describes the main function, system and structural characteristics of waste heat boiler, and analyzes the problems of the waste heat boiler of bottom - blowing electric smelting reduction furnace, such as the soot deposit, tube burst, insuffi- cient capacity of feed pump, high temperature of exit gas, etc. The equipment replacement and process improvement ensures the con- tinuous and stable operation of waste heat boiler.
