摘要
德鲁克先生告诫我们,管理是一种实践,其本质不在于"知"而在于"行"。现实中界定成功的管理者和不成功的管理者亦主要通过管理者的实践能力,而不是管理者有多么懂理论。这就使得大多数以讲授理论为主的商学院教育存在一个问题:往往管理理论学得最好的学生未必今后能够成为一个优秀的管理者。本文认为这其中最重要的原因就是学生未能将课堂中所学的管理理论通过有效的训练用于实践。而案例教学法的提出与实施成为了链接理论和实践的有效方式,因此,以案例教学法为主要教学方式的哈佛商学院亦把这种方法在世界传播开来。然而,案例教学法虽好,但是教师对案例的理解及把控要非常到位,否则效果会不尽如人意。另外,本文认为并不是所有的管理类课程都适合用案例教学法,案例需要花大量时间讨论且综合性较强,因此建议仅对具有相关背景知识的学生或者是高年级综合素质较强的学生使用案例教学法。
Mr. Peter Drucker told us management is a kind of practice,and its essence lies in action,and not knowledge. In real life,we divide successful managers from unsuccessful managers through their practical ability,and not their theo-retical knowledge.For the moment,most of the business schools have a trouble: the theory instruction is the main method used in teaching students,the best scored owned student is always not the most successful person in the business field. And this pa-per thinks the main reason is we don't give students the chance of tryiny using the theor to solve the reality business problems. The method of case study can get us out of the trouble,and this method is firstly used by Harvard University,for its superiority, now it's used around the world.However,case study needs a lot of time and for its comprehensiveness,thus not all the man-agement courses suit the method,we think only the students who have relative background or comprehensive quality can use the method of case study.
