论述了各种含硫废物处理技术和选择某一特定技术的主要原因。详细介绍了在20世纪80年代后期由KVT开发、现在由杜邦MECS所拥有的SULFOXTM技术,特别是它在冶炼烟气和H2S废气处理方面的应用。通过3个案例研究,比较了在处理含SO2和H2S废物时碱液洗涤、SULFOXTM和传统制酸技术的相对总成本。
The various technologies available for treating sulphur-containing effluents and the main reasons for selecting a particu- lar technology are briefly discussed. The SULFOXTM technology,developed by KVT in the late 1980s and now owned by MECS DuPont is described in detail, especially its application in the treatment of metallurgical off-gases and any H2 S off gas. The decision factors of caustic scrubbing, SULFOXTM and conventional acid production technologies for treating SO2- and HES-Containing effluents are presented and relative total costs are compared by three case studies respectively.
