《采菽堂古诗选》的命名及成书过程研究

On the Naming and Compilation of Cai Shu Tang Anthology of Poetry

《采菽堂古诗选》是清初诗论家陈祚明评选的古诗选本。据笔者考证,原著书名并非《采菽堂古诗选》,翁嵩年刊行之时以先师陈祚明书室为该书命名。陈祚明以"采菽"命堂的原因与陶渊明归隐的心态非常接近。《采菽堂古诗选》评选的时间起点不晚于顺治十二年(1655),止于康熙十四年(1674)春,编选过至少三次。陈祚明既抱着愉悦之心享受评选的过程,又对该书寄托了"立言以不朽"的期望,态度极为严谨。

Cai Shu Tang Anthology of Poetry was compiled by Chen Zuoming, a poetry critic in the early Qing Dynsaty. Research shows that originally this book was not entitled thus, and the title was added by Weng Songnian, adopting the name of Chen Zuoming 's study. Weng was a student of Chen and the editor of this book. The mentality of Chenin in naming his study 'Cai Shu Tang ' was very close to Tao Yuanming's in his retirement to the country. The project of the anthology started no later than 1655 and lasted until the spring of 1674, undergoing at leat three compilations. Chen Zuoming both enjoyed the process of compilation, and maintained a rigorous attitude, expecting to attain an immortality as a critic through the compilation of this book.
