Hemoglobin was extracted from fresh blood of animals and reduction of N\|nitrosamine in cigarette smoke by the filter containing hemoglobin was determined. The results showed that N\|nitrosamine in cigarette smoke was reduced significantly by using the filter added with the hemoglobin.
