阎连科的《炸裂志》以地方志的形式呈现了当代中国乡村不断演进的历史,它以无比的表现力将发生在当代中国乡村纷繁复杂、冗乱无序的发展进程立体地呈现在世人面前,这其间不乏有关于乡土的点滴记忆,对那些立足于乡土之上家族间爱恨情仇的勾画,以及维系在乡土与家族、与血脉之间权力话语的实践。可以说,这部小说是一部关于乡土进化论的寓言,从这部寓言里可以读懂关于当下中国乡村发展的某些情态。

Yan Lianke＇s Zha Lie Zhi （A Record of Drastic Changes） relates the history of constant evolution in contemporary Chinese countryside in the form of local history and depicts the complicated and unordered development course of contemporary Chinese countryside in an expressive and three-dimensional manner. In the novel can be found some sporadic memory of native soil, the portrayal of love and hate among families based on native soil and the practice of power discourse linking native soil to family and blood. It can be said that the novel is a fable of local evolution from which some awareness can be gained of the development in present-day Chinese countryside.
