阎连科的《炸裂志》讲述了耙耧山脉中的炸裂村从村、镇、县、市到直辖市的爆炸式发展,以及这种发展戛然而止的故事。《炸裂志》主要的着力点不在于书写以炸裂村为代表的中国发展"正史",张扬中国发展的正能量,而在于彰显发展背后的"性"力量和仇恨力量,凸显了以炸裂村为代表的中国发展"秘史"和仇恨"心史"。

Yan Lianke＇s Zha Lie Zhi （A Record of Drastic Changes） tells the story of how Zhalie Village at the foot of Palou Mountain range has undergone its drastic development from a village through a town, a county and a city to a municipality directly under the central government as well as its abrupt end. The novel is not focused on the writing of ＂the official history＂ of Chinese development represented by Zhalie Village or on the display of the positive energy of Chinese advancement but on demonstrating the power of ＂sex＂ and hatred behind the develop- ment and on manifesting the ＂inside story＂ and the ＂soul history＂ of Chinese development typical of Zhalie Village.
