Carbon dioxide arc welding is one kind of welding method with carbon dioxide as a shielding gas. The application of this method in the welding of screw discharging grid was introduced in the paper. And the practice has proved that, the using of this technique can significantly improve the productivity and reduce the cost, at the same time decrease the welding deformation, enhance the welding quality of grid effectively.
