摘要
普济禅院是澳门最重要的佛教寺庙,不仅供奉代表北方农耕文明的观音菩萨,同时还是民间诸神集聚之所在.普济禅院的建筑选址、空间布局,以及诸神杂陈的现象在澳门具有普遍性,也是近代以来佛教倡导人间化的全面体现.
Kun Iam Temple is the most impressive, magnificent and famous temple in Macao. It is very typical for the site selection and space layout by the effect of Guangdong dwellings. Kun Iam Temple is mainly dedicated to the Bodhisattva Guanyin, however, the other gods also are gathered in it. One of them is said to be carved in the image of Marco Polo. This paper tries to analyse the reasons for this special phenomenon and the practice of Humanistic Buddhism in Macao.
