摘要
美国是世界上最早提出并实施通识教育的国家,随着通识教育在美国高校的地位日益重要,其质量评估体系也日趋完善,值得借鉴和学习。美国的通识教育评估机构主要包括区域性高等教育评估委员会、社会专业评估机构(协会)和院校本身三种形式。在对高校进行通识教育评估时,美国采用了多种直接或间接的通识教育评估模式,以保证评价的准确性和有效性。对美国高校通识教育质量评估体系的考察,可以为我们更好地评估通识教育,提升通识教育质量提供启示。
The United States is the first country that proposed and implemented general education . With the status of general education in American is becoming more and more important , general education quality assessment system has also been increasingly improved .which is worth drawing and learning .The United States general education assessment agencies include the regional higher education evaluation committee , the social organization of professional evaluation and self assessment .When assess the general education in higher education , America adopted many kinds of direct or indirect general education assessment models in order to ensure the accuracy and validity of the evaluation . Study for general education quality assessment for higher education in America , which provide implications for us to better assess general education and enhance its quality .
