Effect of Low Voltage Pulsed Magnetic Field on Refinement of Eutectic Silicon in ZL108 Alloy and its Frictional Behavior

摘要 研究了低压脉冲磁场对ZL108合金组织中共晶Si的细化及磨损性能的影响。结果表明,在磁场作用下,ZL108合金铸态组织中的共晶Si得到显著细化。随着放电频率增加,共晶Si由粗大的针片状转变为细小的短纤维状和颗粒状共存的组织。施加磁场处理后,ZL108合金的耐磨性能显著提高。磨损表面分析表明,未施加磁场处理合金的磨损机制为严重的粘着磨损和磨粒磨损共同作用,施加6Hz磁场处理合金的磨损机制为以磨粒磨损为主并有少量粘着磨损。 Effects of low voltage pulsed magnetic field (LVPMF) on refinement of eutectic silicon in ZL108 alloy and its frictional properties were investigated. The results show that the eutectic silicon is refined significantly by LVPMF treatment, where eutectic silicon phase is transformed from coarse acicular structure into the co-existence of fine short fibre-like and particle-like ones with increasing in discharge frequency. The wear resistance of ZL108 alloy treated by LVPMF is significantly superior to that untreated by LVPMF. The analysis of worn surface indicates that wear mechanism of the ZL108 alloy untreated by LVPMF is characterized by adhesive wear and delamination wear, while it is mainly controlled by abrasive wear with slight adhesive wear in the ZL108 alloy treated by LVPMF.
