Two New Species of Urticaceae from Tibet

Two new species of the family Urticaceae, Laportea lageensis and P/lea lageensis, are described from southeastern Tibet. Laportea lageensis is related to L. medogensis C. J. Chen, but differs from the latter by its stems, petioles and peduncles with sparse short stinging hairs, broadly cuneate or obtuse leaf bases, and glabrous pistillate tepals. P/lea lageensis is related to P. monilifera Hand. puberulous stems, smaller leaves, smaller tepals. -Mazz., but differs from the latter by its lower, leaf cystoliths, and broadly ovate smaller pistillate
