STAT3和CyclinD1在口腔高分化鳞状细胞癌化疗前后的表达及临床意义

Effect of chemotherapy administered before surgery on the expression of STAT3 and CyclinD1 in the well-differentiated oral cavity squamous cell carcinoma

摘要 目的探讨STAT3和CyclinD1在口腔高分化鳞状细胞癌化疗前后的表达及其与预后的关系。方法选择2003年1月至2013年6月在我院接受手术治疗的高分化口腔鳞状细胞癌72例,其中术前未化疗组34例,术前静脉化疗组38例,免疫组化法检测STAT3和CyclinD1的表达,并分析STAT3和CyclinD1的表达与肿瘤大小、性别、年龄、淋巴结转移及临床分期之间的关系。结果与未化疗组相比,术前化疗可以明显降低高分化口腔鳞癌中STAT3和CyclinD1的阳性率;STAT3和CyclinD1表达情况与高分化口腔鳞状细胞癌的淋巴结转移、部位及临床分期(T1、T2)相关(P<0.05),而与患者的年龄、性别、瘤体大小及T3期无关(P>0.05)。结论术前化疗可以降低高分化口腔鳞癌中STAT3和CyclinD1的表达,进而减少淋巴结的转移和改善预后。 Objective To detect the effect of chemotherapy administered before surgery on the expression of STAT3 and CyclinD1 in the well-differentiated oral cavity squamous cell carcinoma.We also correlated expression of STAT3 and CyclinD1 with clinical outcome. Methods 60 cases specimens of well-differentiated oral squamous cell carcinoma were collected from patients between January 2003 to June 2013. They were divided into two groups, nonchemotherapy before operation group (n=34) and intravenous chemotherapy before operation group (n = 38). The expressions of STAT3 and CyclinD1 were determined by The expressions of STAT3 and CyclinD1 correlated with size of tumor, gender, age, lymph node metastasis and clinical stages was also determined. Results Chemotherapy administered before surgery significantly reduced the expression of STAT3 and CyclinD 1 (P〈 0.05). There were significant differences in the lymph node metastasis, location, clinical stages(T1,2) between the two groups(P〈0.05). However, there was no significant difference in the tumor size, T3, gender and age between the two groups(P〉0.05). Conclusion Chemotherapy given before surgery reduced the STAT3 and CyclinD1 expression rate, restrained lymph node metastasis and improved clinical outcomes.
