在卢梭的理论中,自然状态下人与人之间不存在不平等,也无所谓平等。"平等"与"不平等"的观念是在人与人之间逐步建立各种关系、公众评价一步步形成的过程中才发展起来的。平等与否,事关价值判断,在外在的价值体系形成之前,是无法对人们作价值上的比较的。
