摘要
患者满意度是对医疗服务的综合评价,是衡量医疗服务质量的重要指标。本文利用2007~2010年国务院城镇居民基本医疗保险入户调查数据,使用双变量probit模型,对民营医疗机构和公立医疗机构的患者满意度差异进行了实证研究。结果显示,竞争使民营医疗机构的患者满意率要显著高于公立医疗机构的患者。本文认为,发展民营医疗机构,促进竞争是改善医疗服务可及性和提升医疗服务质量的有效途径。
Patients' satisfaction is a comprehensive assessment of measuring services provided by medical institutions, which is also an important indicator of quality. Based on Urban Resident Basic Medical Insurance (URBMI) Survey data (2007-2010), we use bivarate pozbit model to inspect the satisfaction differences between outpatients from private and public medical institutions. The empirical results show outpatients in private medical institutions are more satisfactory than those in public medical institutions significantly as a resuh of competition. We also find outpatients are more likely to go to the nearest medical institution for treatment. Developing private medical institutions that promotes competition in medical service market could improve the accessibility to medical service and service quality effectively.
