Objective To evaluate the thrombelastography (TEG) values changes of normal pregnant women in different periods of pregnancy. Methods Selected 73 cases of pregnant women and 10 cases of non-pregnant women, in which there are 19 cases of women in early pregnancy, 2l cases of mid-pregnant women and 33 cases of women in late pregnan- cy for TEG testing to detect changes of TEG values, including K,R,Angle ,MA and CI values. Results K values of preg- nant women were (2.03±0.57 )min ,those were significantly shorter than non-pregnant women(2.49 ± 0.76 )min, With the growth of gestational age, K values became shorter gradually ( P 〈 0. 05 ). Angel values of pregnant women were (62. 77 ± 6. 00)°, those were significantly increased than non-pregnant women (57.61 ± 7. 62 )o, With the growth of ges- rational age, Angel values increased significantly (P 〈 0. 05 ). MA values and CI index of pregnant women were signifi- cantly increased than non-pregnant women( P 〈0. 05 ), but there is no significant differences among different periods of pregnancy. R values showed no significant differences ( P 〉 0. 05 ). Conclusion Many values of TEG showed significant differences between pregnant women and non-pregnant women, Some values of TEG showed significant differences among different periods of pregnancy. TEG is one of useful indicators to evaluate the coagulation changes of pregnant women.
