摘要
以国家的教育政策为导向,以"后方法"教学理论为指导,分析电子邮件在大学英语写作教学中应用的理论依据,总结出这一新型交流模式的作用和意义,并较为详细地设计了电子邮件在课堂教学和作业处理中如何应用的活动模式。在此基础上,以上海某大学的85名大一学生(分为实验班和对照班)为研究对象,进行了电子邮件在大学英语写作教学中应用的实践研究。结果表明,在大学英语写作教学中,将电子邮件作为师生间的交流模式是可行的,教学效果突出,学生的写作能力、英语综合水平以及英语交际能力都得到了显著的提高。
Guided by educational policy of China, the authors of the present paper designed this study based on post-method theory. Theoritical reasons about application of E-mail in College English teaching are analyzed; functions and significance of this new kind of teaching mode are summerized; and how to use E-mail in and after class is also designed in detail. A practical research on how to use E-mail in writing teaching of College English was made on 85 freshmen (divided into experimental class and control class ) from a university of Shanghai. Research results show that application of E-mail in writing teaching of College English is feasible, and the effect of the experimental class is obviously better than that of the control class taught in the traditional way. Their writing ability, comprehensive ability of English and communicating ability in English are all improved to a great extent.
