张爱玲小说叙事中的“突转”

"Sudden Conversion" in ZHANG Ai-ling's Novel Narration

摘要 张爱玲常说的"反高潮",就是其叙事活动中的"突转"手法,它通过非常规、非逻辑的方式,在看似应当出现高潮的地方不出现这种高潮,在看似应当出现某一种结局的地方不出现这种结局,从而达到表现生活本质与深入挖掘人物心理的目的。张爱玲小说中的"突转"表现为渐进与强化、可控与不可控的两种形态,并依据不可知力量、人物的性格、人的道德力量来引发"突转"。"突转"区别于突兀。 "Anti-climax" stated by ZHANG Ai-ling is just the method of "sudden conversion" in the narra- tive. Through unconventional and illogical ways, the climax does not happen in the place where it is expec- ted to happen, neither is the ending in the place where the readers expect to be, so that the writer achieves the purpose of showing the depth of life and exploring the character's mental activities. "Sudden conver- sion" in her novels takes two forms: progressive and strengthening, controllable and uncontrollable, and " sudden conversion" is triggered by unknown power, character's personality and character's moral strength.
