摘要
通过糠醇与溴代异丁酰溴的酯化反应制备了溴代异丁酸呋喃甲酯,其与多壁碳纳米管(MWNT)发生Diels-Alder环加成反应得到了原子转移自由基聚合(ATRP)的引发剂(MWNT-Br),MWNT-Br通过ATRP反应引发了八丙烯酸酯基笼型倍半硅氧烷(POSS)的聚合,从而实现了POSS对多壁碳纳米管的包覆,通过对MWNT-Br中溴代异丁酸呋喃甲酯接枝量的控制,包覆POSS层的厚度可以从5 nm、10 nm到15 nm精确调节.
In order to avoid the corrosion, pollution, and the serious break of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) , Diels-Alder (DA) [4 + 2] cycloadditions on the sp2 carbons of CNTs are used for the introduction of functional groups that allow the attachment of potential initiator moieties of ATRP. The multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWNTs) based initiator of ATRP was synthetized by using a DA reaction between MWNTs and furfuryl-2-bromoisobutyrate obtained via esterification reaction. The MWNTs-initiator (MWNTs-Br) with controlled grafted content by changing the conditions of the DA reaction was used to initiate the polymerization of acrylate-POSS on the MWNT surface. The thickness of acrylate-POSS coated onto MWNTs can be changed by controlling the grafted degree of MWNTs-Br. Finally,a core-shell structure with MWNT at the center was obtained successfully and the thickness of shell can be adjusted from about 5,10, to 15 nm through choosing different initiators. The muhifunctional molecules coated MWNTs have better compatibility with other polymer matrix and it provides a potential application for the preparation of composite materials based on CNT chemistry.
