摘要
词汇是语言学习的基础。阅读课是高中学生学习词汇的最主要来源,阅读材料为词汇学习提供了丰富的语境,国内外一些研究表明在阅读的同时习得词汇比单纯地学习词汇更有利于目标词汇的掌握。本研究尝试利用阅读课在阅读过程中培养薄弱校学生的词汇学习策略,即将单元词汇分散在阅读各个环节中,让学生在阅读的过程中掌握词汇并形成策略。结果表明,利用阅读材料学习词汇对学生的词汇学习产生了积极的影响,学生改变了词汇学习的方式,掌握了一定的词汇学习策略,并最终提高了英语成绩。
Language learning is based on vocabulary. Reading class is the essential way of learning vocabulary for students who are weak in English. Reading materials offer meaningful context for understanding the words. It has been concluded that it's more efficient to learn new words in the course of reading than by reciting words repeatedly. This study is based on the related theories to train students to master the vocabulary and form learning strategies in reading class. The results show that it has greatly improved the effectiveness on students' vocabulary learning and their overall English competence.
