摘要
虹影是英国华文文学的代表作家之一,她的主要作品中充满了对于历史、现状、家国、个人的切肤体会和深刻反思,其根源不仅在于她私生女的身份,更是在于从父辈到虹影、从原乡到他乡、从母国到他国的家族离散情结。离散为虹影的创作提供了自由的空间,但其作品证明,当初的离散是为了后来的回归并抵达心灵的归宿。
Hong Ying is one of the most famous writers in overseas Chinese literature. Her works are full of profound introspection on history,actuality,country,home and individual. The introspection derives not only from her identity as a girl born out of wedlock,but also from her family complex of diaspora which includes the fact that her parents left their hometown and she left her motherland. Diaspora provides freedom for Hong Ying's writing. However,it proves that her later return makes her original leaving meaningful and help her reach the spiritual place where she really belongs.
