摘要
槇文彦过去和现在的作品都具有一种平和静谧的特征及匿名似的姿态，泰然自若于抽象的序列和富于实质性影响及多样化的可观察城市环境之间。这是一份城市设计宣言。它没有过分专断的目标，但是每一个方面都由它自己的信念引导，并通过适当尺度的建筑语言来适合并满足各种要求，促进和周围城市环境及基础设施之间的所谓的“联系”。
At present, as well as in retrospect, Maki's work is an oeuvre in serene equilibrium between character and anonymous act, poised between an abstract order and observable urban data of substantial impact and variety. It declares an urban brief. It is without overly assertive goals, but is guided in every aspect by a morale of its own and facilitated by a sliding scale of architectural language to match and satisfy requirements and to promote what in 1964 he specified as “linkage' with urban surroundings and infrastructural systems.
