The article makes a brief introduction on the origin and the development of the traditional folk soft sculpture which can be divided into three categories, namely, fabric, figurines and folk toys. In the end of this paper analyzes the possibilities of application and spheres and the situation of the application of the traditional folk soft sculpture. Traditional folk soft sculpture is a great treasure of China. If we put more technology and cultural value, this treasure will certainly get better development.
