Progress of Acupuncture and Moxibustion in the Treatment of Senile Constipation

目的:综述近年来针灸治疗老年性便秘的机理研究及疗效研究。方法:通过检索针灸治疗老年性便秘的相关文献20多篇,总结针灸治疗老年性便秘的作用机理、方法和疗效。结果:针灸治疗老年性便秘主要是通过对神经内分泌免疫网络的调节发挥作用。临床上应用了传统针刺、针刺结合推拿、耳穴等多种治疗措施,且取得良好效果。结论:针灸治疗老年性便秘疗效确切,且具有操作简单安全、毒副作用小、不产生依赖性的优势。

Objective： Reviewing on the mechanism and the curative effect of acupuncture treatment of senile constipation. Methods： Through the acupuncture treatment of senile constipation related literature retrieval, summarized the mechanism of acu- puncture treatment of senile constipation, methods and curative effect. Results： Acupuncture treatment of senile constipation was effective, mainly through the regulation of neuro-endocrine-immune network. Various ways of treatment, such as traditional acupuncture, acupuncture combined with massage, auricular etc. were applied in clinic. Conclusion： Using acupuncture and moxibustion to treat senile constipation is easy to operate, has small side-effect and do not produce any dependence.
