By confirming the meaning of community health service scientific research, this article addressed why physicians in the community health service institutions should do research and what they can do in the research. Meanwhile, the article pointed out the inherent advantages of community health service scientific research in the range and methods, and suggested that the physicians should convert thinking out of clinical medicine framing to develop scientific research within the field of general medicine integrating the natural sciences and the humanities and social sciences.
