The paper analyzes the reasons of power supply short accidents caused by gounding over-voltage in distributing net, and introduces the compensation, advantages and disadvantages of the neutral point in electric net grounded through arcing coil. The auto tracking resonance adopted at present is describes and discusses, which will play a guide for selection of auto tracking arcing device.
