By applying the methods of literature data, mathematical statistics, and comparative analysis to an- alyze the height, weight, quetelet index and age of talented male and female players in the world track and field. The research shows that after all track and field items by item group theory is classified, the projects of the indicators are showing obvious item group characteristics.
