This paper has made a thorough and comprehensive research on the factors influencing university students to join extracurricular athletics with the methods of document literature, interviewing and mathemati- cal statistics and questionnaire to found many problems within. Corresponding measures are proposed through discussion to carry out extracurricular athletics and to provide a reference frame to implement quality-oriented education for colleges and universities.
