中国人情面现象学刍议

A Phenomenological Study on Chinese “Qing Mian”

旧中国上海青帮老大杜月笙生前曾感叹说,人生有三碗面最难吃:人面、情面、场面。情面则是这三碗面中最最难吃的。而所谓情面,究竟应如何辟解,"情"与"面"到底含藏着多少可待发掘的中国文化元素?"情面"在中国人日常生活中的又发挥着怎样的作用?现象学作为当代西方哲学思潮中的重要运动,为解释上述难题提供了新的视角。为此,通过解义、辨义、立义、判义四个维度全方位地呈现国人"情面"的方方面面。

Tu Yueh -sen, a legendary gangster head in old -time Shanghai, once said that there were three most difficult things to deal with, namely Ren Mian （moral reputation）, Qing Mian （personnal sentiment） and Chang Mian （social prestige）, among which, Qing Mian ranked topmost. However, it remains a question as how to interpret ＂Qing Mian＂ ; how much Chinese cultural significance is embodied in the concept of ＂Qing＂ （sentiment） and ＂Mian＂ （face） and what is the role of it in the life of Chinese people？ As an important movement in western philosophy, phenomenology provides a new perspective to the above questions. With this theory, this paper aims to study aspects of ＂Qing Mian＂ by investigating, discriminating, proposing and criticizing its meaning.
