Diagnosis Related Groups（ DRGs） is the inevitable trend of paid mode reform on medical expenses. The mode, effectiveness, problems of DRGs in Shanghai were analyzed. The payment system based on DRGs, reasonable and scientific standards of disease costs should established, and the clinical path management should be actively promoted.
