摘要 液晶显示以其突出的优势成为平板显示领域的主导技术 ,在 2 0世纪末的几年间迅速发展 ,以朝阳产业的势态跨入了 2 1世纪。为使 LCD产品具有更优异的性能 ,进入更多的应用领域 ,近十年来 ,相关技术的研究开发工作一直十分活跃 ,本文概要介绍了近两年围绕产品性能的提高和部分新技术的应用所进行的研究和开发工作取得的进展。 Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) has been the leading technology in flat panel display field for its excellent performances. The LCD industry has expanded rapidly since early 1990 ′s, and stepped into 21st century with great benefit potentials. To further improve LCD′s performance and widen its application field, the research work has also been continued actively in the past decade. The main progress in this field was described and reviewed.
