The EGR （exhaust gas recirculation） system of a Honda-Accord car broke down due to the carbon deposition of EGR valve, which caused the engine fault lights, engine idles rough and slight smoky exhaust failure. This paper aims to analyze the causes of these problems through checking the fault code, and finally solve the problems.
