从《孔乙己》的三个译本看译者的主体性

On the Translator's Subjectivity:A Case Study of the Three English Versions of Kong Yiji

翻译是人类最悠久的跨文化交际活动之一,译者作为翻译活动的实践主体,在跨文化交际中起着十分重要的作用,但对译者主体性的研究经历了漫长的过程才渐渐引起学者们的重视。本文选取鲁迅著名文学作品《孔乙己》的三个英译本作为研究素材,观察译者主体性在译者对原文的选择、解读和表达等方面的体现及其影响和制约因素。

Translation is one of the most historical cross-cultural activities in human history and the trans- lator, as a subject o~ translation, plays an important role in this activity. However, for a long time the translator＇s subjectivity was ignored. The paper makes a case study of the three English versions of Kong Yiji and explores the expression and influence of the translator＇s subjectivity in the translation of the works.
