As a national, comprehensive competition, the ＂Challenge Cup＂ is an important carrier of cultivating the scientific innovative ability of college students. Scientific innovative ability of college students is an important index to reflect the quality of university personnel training. Through the practice of scientific and technological innovation, this paper analyzes the existing problems in students＂ science and technology innovation activities, and further analyzes the ＂challenge Cup＂ competition＇s positive influence on cultivating scientific innovative ability of college students.
