在邓小平理论、党的十五大精神和国家科技体制改革大政方针指导下 ,正确认识和体会科研机构转化为科技型企业的重要意义 ,实现思想观念 ,内部管理体制和运行机制上的转变。转制后的金属制品研究院仍以科技为基础 ,瞄准行业的重点技术领域 ,寻求重大研究项目 ,致力于促进行业的技术进步 ,同时采用多种新技术 ,提升和改造自身现有产业 。

Under the guidance of Deng Xiaoping theory,spirit of the Fifteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China,and national science and technology structural reforms policy,to correctly understand and realize the significance of turning institute for scientific research into science and tecnolgy type enterprise,and accomplish the change of ideology,internal management mechanism and operation mechanism.After transfering mechanism,the Research Institute of Steel Wire Products is still on the basis of science and technology,aims at the major technological field of the industry,search for important research projects,devote itself to promoting the industry technology progress,use many new technology at the same time to improve and transform the enterprises existing in the institute,and forge ahead toward high science and technology group.
