Township Construction and Sustainable Development of Economic society

中国的城镇化道路是特殊历史条件下的产物。城镇化虽然是我国农村发展的一次历史性跨越 ,但它有许多弊端 ,与经济社会的可持续发展之间存在冲突。随着市场经济体制在我国的最终确立 ,也利用我国现在经济结构大调整的契机 ,应该回复到城市化正常进程的轨道中来。

The authors of this paper consider that township development in China is the offspring of special historical circumstance. Although township construction is a historic stride of rural development in our country, it enjoys many disadvantages and conflicts with sustainable development of economic society as well. Along with the final establishment of market economic system in our country, we should take the opportunity of economic structural adjustment and return to the normal track of urbanization.
