摘要
甘肃城市用地既存在一定限制因素，又具有较大的开发潜力。国家西部大开发战略的实施是甘肃城市发展的外动力，自身资源的开发、人口的增长和城市化水平的提高是城市发展的内动力。应采用积极培育、发展大中城市，重点发展沿黄河及铁路干线上的城市和扶持特色城市的城市土地持续开发利用模式，并探索实现城市土地可持续利用的对策。
The author considers that the urban land, so far as Gansu is concerned, has restricted factors as well as developable potentialities under given conditions. The external motive force of urban development in Gansu is the state's strategy for exploiting Western Ragions, and the internal impetus consists in exploitation exploitation, population growth and urbanization. The author puts forward the following models of sustainable urban land utilization: (1 ) actively developing large and medium cities; (2 ) emphasis hong put on expanding the cities along the Yellow River and the trunk railway; and (3 ) supporting cities with distinctive characteristics.
