In the course of setting up the value of labour theory,Marx made a detailed study of the relationship between supply and demand from various angles.Not only did he give comprehensive and accurate defimitions of the words'supply”and “demand”,but also he confirmed the function of them that regulate prices,and revealed their essence.Marx's idea of supply and demand froms an important part of his value of labur theory that is therefore enriched and improved,leaving us plenty of important enlightment that establish and develop the system of the socialist market oriented economy.
