作为基础教育学科的语文教育 ,必须全面实施素质教育 ,挖掘学生的创造潜能、培养学生的创新精神。阅读教学是整个语文教育中的一个重要组成部分 ,是体现语文素质教育质量如何的一个主要方面 ,因而阅读教学的重心应是培养学生的创新精神。结合本学科特点及现代教育的基本要求 ,阅读教学可从以下三个方面入手培养学生的创新精神 :发展健康和谐的个性 ;磨炼坚强的意志 ;

The teaching of Chinese as one of the basic subjects in middle schools should stress the cultivation of the students' overall quality, the development of their creative potentials and their spirit in bringing forth new ideas. The teaching of reading is the important part of the teaching of the Chinese language, the major aspect that indicates the quality education through the teaching of the mother tongue. So the essence of the teaching should be the cultivation of new ideas. In accordance with the scientific characteristics and the requirements of modern education, the teaching of reading should begin with the following three aspects: cultivating the students' healthy and harmonious personal characters; tempering their willpower; training them in their querying abilities.
