Cultural Confrontation and Struggle:New Currents of International Chinese Rhetoric Research

21世纪以来,中国修辞学向国际学术界进军,并逐步登上国际学术舞台,并扮演着越来越重要的角色。中国学者提出了许多新的理论观点,他们倡导"学术、文化、友谊"的理念,成立了以东亚学者为核心的国际学术共同体,开展了丰富多彩的学术活动,引领了国际学术发展的方向,赢得了国际学术界的广泛关注。西方学者正在逐步了解中国的修辞学传统,"东方无修辞学"论调趋于消弭。弘扬中国修辞学传统,争夺国际学术话语权,传播中华文化,将对全球修辞体系的建构产生积极的推动作用。

Since the 21st century, Chinese rhetoric has marched towards the international academic stage and played an important role gradually. Chinese scholars put forward new concepts and new theories. They advocated ＂Academics · Culture · Friendship＂, build international academic community and took rich activities. They drew attention of the international academic world and led the way of international rhetoric studies. The western scholars got to know rhetorical tradition of China. They tend to give up the idea that ＂there is no rhetoric in the oriental world. ＂ Chinese scholars carried forward the Chinese rhetoric tradition and struggled for speech right in the international academic stage. It will benefit much for the construction o f the global rhetoric.
