改革开放以来成都基督教青年会、女青年会社会服务探析

On Social Services and Their Characteristics of Contemporary Chengdu YMCA and YWCA

成都基督教青年会、女青年会从1988年8月8日复会至今,秉承"非以役人,乃役于人"、"尔识真理,真理识尔"的会训,践行"服务社会、造福人群"的宗旨,从1997年开始,积极拓展与境外基督教青年会、女青年会的交流合作,极大地推进了成都基督教青年会社会服务的较快发展;2008年5.12汶川大地震至今,赈灾和灾后重建援助、社区服务成为青年会、女青年会工作的重点。

Chengdu YMCA ＆ YWCA have persisted in YMCA＇ s motto To serve and not to be served ＆ YWCA＇ s motto You know the truth will set you free and their target to serve the society ＆ benefit humankind since resuming on August 8,1988. Chengdu YMCA ＆ YWCA have actively expanded exchanges and cooperation with many YMCAs ＆ YWCAs abroad since 1997, greatly promoted the rapid development of social services of Chengdu YMCA ＆ YWCA. After May 12 Sichuan-Wenchuan earthquake in 2008, earthquake relief, post-disaster reconstruction assistance and community service became the focus of Chengdu YMCA ＆ YWCA work.
