平湖市儿童家庭二手烟暴露现况

Household second-hand smoke exposure among children in Pinghu city

目的了解平湖市部分小学、幼儿园儿童家庭二手烟暴露情况,为进一步开展控烟健康教育提供参考依据。方法整群抽取平湖市辖区内7个镇/街道13所小学、幼儿园大班的儿童(或其家长)2 416名,采用自编问卷进行调查。结果儿童家长中男性吸烟率为51.81%,父亲的吸烟率低于爷爷/外公的吸烟率,城市家长吸烟率低于农村家长吸烟率,差异均有统计学意义(P值均<0.01);53.26%的学生在家庭中受二手烟污染;城乡之间、父辈与祖辈之间吸烟者使儿童受二手烟危害的差异均无统计学意义(P值均>0.01)。结论防止儿童受二手烟污染要依靠家庭健康促进手段,使吸烟者树立自身和家庭的健康后果信念才能获得成效。

Objective To study the prevalence of household second-hand smoke exposure among children in Pinghu city, and to provide scientific support for the need to establish tobacco control measures in these areas. Methods Parents of children aged 6-8 years from 13 kindergartens and primary schools were investigated by a questionnaire. Results About 51.81% of respondents reported one of the male family members smoke. More smokers were grandparents, parents from rural areas. Approximately 53.26% of all children exposed to second-hand smoke. Second-hand exposure rate did not differ in children by living area or family smokers. Conclusion Due to the significant health impacts of secondhand smoke exposure on children, the only way to protect children completely is for all family smokers to quit completely.
