本文首先论证"究竟"义"到底"是个追问标记,有语力限定作用;然后,从句法角度考察"究竟"义"到底"句的使用限制;接着,从语用角度考察"究竟"义"到底"句的语用背景、话语模式,用询问行为的预备条件和真诚条件来解释"到底"在句法分布上的限制;最后,考察语法化之初"究竟"义"到底"表示追究语气用法的形成过程,用询问行为的编码手段之间的相互转换来解释"究竟"义"到底"创新意义的形成原因,用生成词库论的物性逼迫、语义类型转换和共组机制来重构这种创新意义的获取和固化过程。

The stroke system, including stroke types and individual differences, has great influence on the overall panorama and the difficulty level of Chinese Characters. Simplifying stroke system plays a significant role in the standardiza- tion, publicity and inheritance of Chinese Characters. This paper, with convincing statistics, proves that, without caus- ing extra reading effort, the number of strokes is reduced from 32 to 25, the rate of which has decreased by over 20%.
