Taking the soft foundation treatment engineering of the east Shantou municipal facilities construction project as an example, the paper introduces common silt-clay soft foundation treatment methods along Shantou coastal line, such as shallow surface treatment method, drainage consolidation method and so on, describes the construction technologies and application scopes of common treatment methods, and finally suggests to rationally apply various soft foundation treatment schemes, with a view to avoid post-construction subgrade subsidence.
