摘要
2013年3月22日,竹帛斋主的博文引发了图林关于"人有好恶,书无好坏"的争论,这场争论的本质是价值观问题与方法论问题的混淆。排除这种混淆,争论自然化解。图书馆员应该在馆藏建设和读者服务过程中坚定知识自由的信念,在条件允许的情况下,全面地收集和保存一切人类创造的文献,并为读者提供非限定性的服务。
March 22,2013,the article in the blog of Zhubozhaizhu triggered arguments over ＂everyone has likes and dislikes, the book is neither good nor bad＂ in the library field. The essence of these arguments is the confusion of the value and the methodology.Eliminating the confusion, arguments could be resolved naturally.Librarians should strengthen the belief of intellectual freedom in the collection construction and the process of reader services. In the permissible condition, librarians should fully collect and preserve all literature that humans have created and provide nonrestrictive services for readers.
