Combined TCM （Traditional Chinese Medicine） cross - cultural communication with ecological translation theory, this paper analyzes the existing problems in TCM cross - cultural communication by reviewing the history and the present of TCM cross- cultural communication and proposes possible solutions to these problems from the perspective of ecological translation, which leads to the final goal of coexistence of TCM and western medicine, common progress and harmonious advancement.
